Famous Mitzographer disputes the claims of renegade fezzicist!
Famous Mitzographer, Mitzi Anne, issued a statement this morning rejecting the claims of Fezziwig Lucifer. With all the calm and poise one would expect from such an accomplished Mitzographer and Metaphysician, Mitzi Anne stated, "How could the essence of the universe possibly be made up of fezzotropes? It has long been established that the universe is merely an illusion the essence of which is nothing." She then resumed her meditative pose and promptly rendered us excused.

After her repast and subsequent repose, Lucinda Lourdes Gwin, (aka Lucy) the famous Bayesian Lucian offered these remarks later in the afternoon. "What really matters in this debate [between Fezzology and Mitzography] is the likelihood ratio. That will show us the greatest evidential support for either hypothesis. Suppose we take the hypothesis from Fezzology, the essence of the universe is fezzotropes (F). Naturally, a weaker version of Mitzi's hypothesis is its negation, the essence of the universe is not fezzotropes (~F). Let us further suppose that we can agree on the evidence claims. And, this is all we need to compare the likelihood ratio of the probability of the body of evidence claims given each hypothesis. Let C stand for the body of evidence claims. Put formally we would compare: Pr(C/F)/Pr(C/~F). If this value approaches 0, we know that that Pr(F) also approaches 0." After these remarks Lucy was quoted as saying, "I need a special dinner."
