On and off again 12-stepper, Peri Leann Winkle, was found once again at the food bowl, sick and distraught from the compulsions of her disease.  Faced with a reality she just simply could not deny, she was quoted as saying, "Help me.  I'm in a shame spiral."  Attempts are being made to contact her sponsor and provide her with a list of local OA meetings.  We do want to acknowledge and appreciate Peri's ability to own her own reality and admit she has a problem.
